Question 1

How many stems are in Sunflower Splendour, and can the flowers be substituted?

Accepted Answer

Sunflower Splendour contains 11 stems, including white Lisianthus, white Limonium, Solidago, three Sunflowers, and more. Because we work with fresh, seasonal flowers, a bloom that is not at its best on the day may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in a similar colour and style. The stem count and appearance of the bouquet will stay the same.

Question 2

What occasions are Sunflower Splendour suitable for?

Accepted Answer

Sunflower Splendour is great for summer birthdays, sending congratulations, and cheering someone up. Every order includes a card printed with your own personal message, which can be tailored to the occasion.

Question 3

Does Sunflower Splendour contain Lilies, and is it safe for a home with pets?

Accepted Answer

No, Sunflower Splendour does not contain any Lilies. However, it is still best to keep it out of reach of pets that chew plants, as most cut flowers can cause mild stomach upset for animals. For a fully pet-safe gift, consider our pet-friendly range.

Question 4

Does Sunflower Splendour contain Carnations or Chrysanthemums?

Accepted Answer

No. Sunflower Splendour consists of Sunflowers, white Lisianthus, white Limonium, Solidago, and a Blue Thistle. It's one of the few bouquets in our floral range which does not include Carnations or Chrysanthemums.

Question 5

How long will my flowers last, and what does the 7 day freshness guarantee cover?

Accepted Answer

We send our flowers in bud rather than in full bloom, as this protects them in transit and means the recipient watches them open at home instead of receiving them already past their best. Every gift is covered by our 7 day freshness guarantee, so if the flowers do not stay fresh for at least a week from delivery, let us know and we will put it right.

To get the most from your flowers, trim 2-3cm off each stem at an angle, remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline, add the sachet of flower food, and change the water every couple of days. Make sure to keep the vase out of direct sunlight, and away from radiators and fruit bowls.

Question 6

How will my flowers be packaged and delivered, and does someone need to be home?

Accepted Answer

Every gift is sent in a custom-made box sized to the arrangement, so the flowers cannot move around and become damaged on the journey. Inside the box you will find your personal message card, a sachet of flower food, and care instructions. Our letterbox range is delivered in slim, entirely plastic-free packaging that fits through a standard letterbox, so it arrives even if nobody is in. Our standard bouquets come in larger boxes that need to be accepted at the door, and if the recipient is out a card is left explaining how to collect their gift or rearrange delivery. Flowers in the smaller boxes arrive lying flat and unarranged, ready to trim and put straight into a vase.
