Question 1

How many stems are in Rose and Lily Bouquet, and can the flowers be substituted?

Accepted Answer

Rose and Lily Bouquet contains 16 stems, including pink 'Celeb' Roses, pink Asiatic Lilies, Eucalyptus, and greenery. Because we work with fresh, seasonal flowers, a bloom that is not at its best on the day may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in a similar colour and style. The stem count and appearance of the bouquet will stay the same.

Question 2

What occasions are Rose and Lily Bouquet suitable for?

Accepted Answer

Rose and Lily Bouquet suits anniversaries, romantic gestures, and milestone birthdays. Every order includes a card printed with your own personal message, which can be tailored to the occasion.

Question 3

Does Rose and Lily Bouquet contain Lilies, and is it safe for a home with pets?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this bouquet includes Asiatic Lilies. Lilies are highly poisonous to cats, as every part of the plant, including the pollen and the vase water, can cause kidney failure. Please do not choose this bouquet for a home with cats, and instead consider our pet-friendly range, which does not include Lilies.

Question 4

Why does my Rose and Lily Bouquet look smaller than the photograph when it arrives?

Accepted Answer

The photograph shows the bouquet in full bloom, however, the Roses and the Asiatic Lilies are sent in bud so that they survive the journey and last longer at home. Allow two to three days in water for them to open to the pictured size.

Question 5

How long will my flowers last, and what does the 7 day freshness guarantee cover?

Accepted Answer

We send our flowers in bud rather than in full bloom, as this protects them in transit and means the recipient watches them open at home instead of receiving them already past their best. Every gift is covered by our 7 day freshness guarantee, so if the flowers do not stay fresh for at least a week from delivery, let us know and we will put it right.

To get the most from your flowers, trim 2-3cm off each stem at an angle, remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline, add the sachet of flower food, and change the water every couple of days. Make sure to keep the vase out of direct sunlight, and away from radiators and fruit bowls.

Question 6

How will my flowers be packaged and delivered, and does someone need to be home?

Accepted Answer

Every gift is sent in a custom-made box sized to the arrangement, so the flowers cannot move around and become damaged on the journey. Inside the box you will find your personal message card, a sachet of flower food, and care instructions. Our letterbox range is delivered in slim, entirely plastic-free packaging that fits through a standard letterbox, so it arrives even if nobody is in. Our standard bouquets come in larger boxes that need to be accepted at the door, and if the recipient is out a card is left explaining how to collect their gift or rearrange delivery. Flowers in the smaller boxes arrive lying flat and unarranged, ready to trim and put straight into a vase.
