Question 1

How big is the Pink Carnation Plant and what pot does it come in?

Accepted Answer

The Pink Carnation Plant measures approximately H30cm x W15cm. You can choose a pot at checkout from our range of options, and the plant will be delivered already potted and ready to display, so there is nothing to repot on arrival.

Question 2

How do I care for the Pink Carnation Plant?

Accepted Answer

Carnation plants should be placed in a bright spot, with free-draining compost. Deadhead fading flowers regularly so that they will keep producing new buds throughout the season.

Question 3

Is the Pink Carnation Plant safe around pets and children?

Accepted Answer

Not entirely. The Pink Carnation Plant is noted by experts to be mildly toxic to cats and dogs, usually causing stomach upset or skin irritation rather than anything serious. Keep it out of reach in a home with pets or small children, or consider choosing a gift from our pet-friendly range instead.

Question 4

Is the Pink Carnation Plant scented?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Carnations have a distinctive clove-like fragrance, which is one of the reasons they are so popular. The scent is strongest on a warm day when the plant is in a bright spot.

Question 5

How will my plant be packaged and delivered, and does someone need to be home?

Accepted Answer

Every gift is sent in a custom-made box so the plant cannot move around and become damaged on the journey. Inside the box you will find your personal message card and care instructions. Our plants come in larger boxes that need to be accepted at the door, and if the recipient is out a card is left explaining how to collect their gift or rearrange delivery.
