Here at Bunches, we aim to become more sustainable every day. This takes many forms: our plastic-free range, using ethical flowers and sustainable suppliers, improving our carbon footprint with solar panels, and more.

Part of this ethos is to constantly look for new ways to make our products more sustainable, and as such we’re proud to introduce our new pot sleeve!

Made out of cardboard with a cornstarch laminated interior to ensure its durability and water resistance, we’re using sleeve to replace the plastic pots which plants were previously sent in to reduce our - and your – plastic waste. This brilliant brown sleeve also allows you to choose your plant pot (or use it as-is), so you can match your plant to your specific aesthetic!

The pot sleeves are fully recyclable, so should you need to remove or replace it, there is minimal environmental impact.

More than 500 million plastic plant pots still go to landfill each year, and data from Recoup’s 2023 UK Household Plastic Packaging Collection Survey reported that only 30 of the 379 local authorities across the UK target plastic plant pots as part of their kerbside recycling collections.
