A bunch of flowers can't fix the news, but it can say I'm thinking of you.


There’s a lot happening in the world right now. Rising costs, global uncertainty, and news that can feel heavy day after day. You may have noticed prices shifting a little across many areas of life, whether it's groceries, energy costs, or everyday essentials. It’s completely understandable if, from time to time, you pause before placing an order and think a little more carefully about how you spend your money.


We feel that too. But if there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years, it’s that even when the world is difficult, small acts of care matter more than ever.


A bunch of flowers can’t fix the news. What it can do is t can brighten someone's day, comfort someone having a hard week, or remind someone that they’re loved. Those quiet moments of connection are the reason people have always sent flowers, and will always do so.


At Bunches, we’ve been helping people share those moments since 1989. Over the years we’ve seen flowers carry people through celebrations, loss, and times when the world has felt uncertain. What we’ve always believed is that these gestures are never frivolous; they’re part of how people take care of each other.


Behind the scenes, our responsibility is simple: to make sure that when you send our flowers, you can trust that they will arrive beautifully, on time, and with care.


To make sure this happens, we work closely with growers we’ve built relationships with over the years, many of them in parts of the world where the flower industry supports entire communities. We also make sure that we support the people in our own team who carefully prepare and deliver every order, as well as constantly strengthening our processes so that even when the wider world changes around us, our service remains dependable.


Like many industries, the flower sector is feeling some of the same pressures affecting food and retail more broadly. Global shipping routes have been disrupted, energy prices remain volatile, and the cost of growing and transporting fresh flowers has increased. For UK businesses, additional border checks on imports from Europe have also added complexity to the supply chain.


We’ve worked hard to absorb as much of that pressure as we responsibly can. However, it would be unrealistic to pretend the world isn’t changing, and over time some costs may inevitably shift across the industry.


What won’t change is how seriously we take the trust you place in us when you choose to send flowers through Bunches. We know that when someone sends flowers, it usually means something important is happening in someone’s life, and that’s a responsibility we never take lightly.
