At Bunches, all of our flowers are carefully chosen and tested by our lovely Product Design team to make each stunning gift. However, once your flowers have arrived, you can choose how you want to display them, and so we’re looking at different arrangement styles for your floral favourites!

We previously looked at front facing flower arrangements, but another popular option is 360° arrangements.

What are 360° arrangements?

360° arrangements are floral displays made to be admired from every angle, or a 360° view.

When is it best to use front 360° arrangements?

This type of arrangement is best for flowers which will be viewed from every angle, such decorative bouquets or centrepieces.

How do you make a 360° arrangement?

First, split your bouquet into two sections: flowers and greenery/filler.

Start with greenery, which you can place throughout the vase to create some structure.

Make sure to rotate the vase as you place your stems so that you’re regularly looking at very angle; for a 360° arrangement, it’s important it looks beautiful wherever you look!

Add in any filler, for example Limonium, Wax Flower, or Gypsophila, by placing them around the greenery, adding to the structure.

Now add your floral blooms! Below are some tips to make your blooms look their best:

• Multiheaded stems like Alstroemeria, Lisianthus, and Chrysanthemums look lovely on the top sides of the arrangement as they create width and texture.

• Focal flowers such as Roses and Freesias look pretty in the centre of the arrangement, surrounded and supported by the filler stems.

• Tall flowers such as Delphiniums and Snapdragons should go at the side of the bouquet as their height ensures they stand out.

• Flowers that bloom midway down their stems, such as Campanula, or flowers that have multi stems, e.g. Spray Carnations, look gorgeous at the front so they can be seen in all their beauty!

Don’t forget to play with heights by cutting the stems at the front lower than those towards the back, as this creates a full and beautiful arrangement.

What is the best type of vase to use?

Tall and wide vases, such as hourglass vases, are ideal for this type of arrangement as they allow for more space around the flowers, meaning that they can spread out and breathe as they open up.
