At Bunches, we know how important it is to give back. Since 1989, our goal has been not only to gift happiness with stunning flowers, but to help those in need.

Every year, Bunches donates 10% of all its profits to charity, both in the UK and around the world. This means that every time you buy some of our beautiful blooms, you’re helping us help others.

We believe that sustainable freedom from poverty is about giving people a hand up, not a handout. Bunches supports a number of micro-enterprise projects in Malawi through our charity partner Links, who connect people, confront poverty and create potential.

One of the people you have helped is Joyce Chambadzana. Through a MED Business Loan, Joyce received MWK 70,000 (£35) for her vegetable selling business. Before this, Joyce couldn’t sell enough to make a profit because her capital was too small, and she couldn’t provide for her family’s needs.

The loan allowed her to expand from ordering one bucket of tomatoes a week to four, and now Joyce has increased her sales and earned enough profit to save money and meet her family’s needs.

The MED Business Loan not only provided a way for Joyce to increase her income but provided hope and support for her family. Joyce has already paid back her loan, and this money has been used to support another loan – and so the cycle of change continues!
