Bunches MAD: Families for Pakistan flood support

At Bunches, we want to help others. That’s why we give 10% of our profits to charity every single year, which means that every time you buy flowers or gifts from us, you are making a difference to someone’s life.

We work with Links International, who train communities and individuals, as well as providing relief and aid in emergencies with their partners.

One such partner is Families for Pakistan (FFPak), who helps with emergency relief for those impacted by natural disasters. When Pakistan experienced severe flooding, Links provided £2500 to Families for Pakistan for support.

This helped families who had been impacted by the disaster, such as Ms Nasir and her three children:
“When the water surrounded our home, I feared for my children. FFPak brought us food and funds at a time when we had nothing left. This help gave us strength to keep going.”

Ms Mustaq, mother of four, was another recipient of the funds, and said of the experience:

“The flood took everything—our livestock, crops, and savings. With FFPak’s assistance, I can feed my children again. It feels like a blessing.”

Mr. Saleem, father of five, also received financial support from Families for Pakistan:

“Our village was underwater for days. FFPak was the first to reach us. The cash support allows me to restart small work and rebuild hope for my family.”
