GypsophiliaGypsophilia is a relative of the Carnation. The botanical name means ‘lover of chalk’, but is also known as “baby’s breath” due to it’s delicate nature. It commonly has chalky white button shaped flowers on long slender branching stems with cream and pink varieties also available. Native to Eastern Europe from the Med to Siberia, Gypsophilia is very long lasting provided the water is kept clean. It is said to represent ‘innocence’.
