Philippines Housing (2009)
Many shanty homes on Tondo Dump in Manila are unsafe, collapse, and are constructed from plastic and recycled rubbish. In January 2009 Links built and mended three shanty homes, however many more families have been identified as urgently requiring housing.
A housing investment in the Philippines with money donated by Bunches will provide materials and labour to build 10 wooden homes for 10 families, giving them a safer and cleaner environment. As many as 10 people occupy one of these homes.
