Philippines - Community Healthcare Training (2011)
With support from Bunches, Links International has been helping to educate influencers from three communities in the Philippines to help make health and other improvements a reality. The people of the Tondo, Navotas and Baguio communities many of whom live in makeshift houses made from rubbish and survive by scavenging from tips are benefiting from teachings in everything from basic healthcare to responsible parenting.
These influencers will continue to be supported by Links International over the coming year with continued training and support so that they can continue to make a difference within their communities in the longer term.
