Peru - Mosquito Nets (2011)
Malaria kills 1 child every 30 seconds worldwide and often leave those who survive with neurological after-affects and impaired learning. A recent investment from Bunches helped to fund Mosquito nets for residents of Iquitos who live in a Malaria 'hot spot'. The nets have now been distributed to leaders representing some 26 villages in the area and will help to protect 100 families from Malaria. This charitable work was carried out with the help of Links International.
