A lovely rhyme from one of our customers
Posted By Anna on Friday 17th July 2009 16:33
I just had to share this great rhyme that one of our lovely customers sent through to us:
Your boxes bright,
your flowers gay,
they bought a smile,
a happy day.
You're ethical,
a family too,
so glad my bunches came from you!

Posted By Ing on Tuesday 28th July 2009 15:34
Bunches is helping the Fountaindale School in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire to send a group of special needs children to Iceland for a once in a lifetime experience. The children will be visiting Reykjavik as well as the many sights of the arctic island nation such as The Blue Lagoon, and following the popular Golden Circle tourist route. With the help and support of staff from the school and Bull Precision Expeditions Ltd, the children will be studying everything they see as well as undertaking challenges in order to help encourage confidence and team work within the group.
Derby Flower Market
Posted By Anna on Friday 31st July 2009 13:22
Whilst we source most of our flowers directly from Holland, we occasionally visit a local flower market in Derby to see what they have available and get some inspiration for new designs. Aga, our bouquet designer and I took a trip down to the Derby flower market this morning to see what new flowers were available for our Christmas designs we are working on. Among other flowers, we picked up some gorgeous deep red Gerberas and some lovely light green Carnations. Now that we're back at work, we get the fun bit of working the new flowers we've sourced into Christmas bouquet ideas. Seems strange planning Christmas in July, but it gives us plenty of time to test out are new designs so that we can ensure they are great quality, long lasting and travel well in the post. Anyway, I'm off to get creative and put together some new bouquet ideas together, I'll keep you posted
