Bunches has teamed up with Warner Bros for the DVD release of film 'Valentine's Day' to give one lucky rom-com fan the chance to win a whole year of romantic goodies! Last night saw the prestigious awards dinner for the 2010 Nottingham Evening Post Business Awards. Myself and our MD Dani (who took a break from her maternity leave) got glammed up for the event held in Nottingham's Council House which saw us compete with three other local companies to be crowned 'Nottinghamshire Company of the Year'.

After waiting patiently in eager anticipation for the final award of the evening, we were surprised but very happy to hear Bunches announced as winner before being presented with an impressive (and very heavy) trophy and photographed paparazzi style!

There is much excitement at Bunches HQ this morning with celebrations involving lots of cake! Dani thanked all the staff at Bunches, owing our success to a team effort, hard work and commitment by everyone.

The sun coming out, temperatures soaring and England making it through to the next stage of the World Cup are all reasons to smile this weekend, but did you know that fresh flowers are also a great way to lift the spirits?

Research by Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital has found that people feel more compassionate towards others, have less worry and feel less depressed when cut flowers are in the home, so are a great way of spreading a little happiness!
